Crime Stoppers
of North Central Iowa pays cash rewards for confidential
information that helps law enforcement solve crimes. We are
a charitable
organization. Crime Stoppers of North Central Iowa is made
up of news media, law enforcement, and the community. Individuals
from the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) answer
the
telephone to receive the confidential information. When
there is no RSVP volunteer available, someone from the Cerro
Gordo
County Sheriff’s Office will answer the phone.
Anyone having information regarding
any crime may call Crime Stoppers of North Central Iowa at 1-800-383-0088 or
the Mason City Police Department at 641-421-3636. All information will
be kept in strict confidence and the caller need not give their name.
Rewards of up to $1,000.00 may be paid for information leading to an
arrest and conviction.
